About Us

Hey there! 

Firstly I would like to say thanks so much for visiting our site. As a small family-run business every customer is so valued and important to us. 

My name is Shantel and I am the proud mother of two little boys! I have become a multi-tasking pro recently, juggling my work, PhD and this new store (call me crazy lol).

Soon after my first son was born I became enthusiastic about the world of open-ended play...which of course spiralled into research on the Montessori and Waldorf approach to learning - I blame all of those night-time feeds sat on Instagram! I quickly began to build our collection of these beautiful toys and after seeing how well my son played and developed, I realised this was not just a 'fad' and luckily I hadn't just been suckered in to the 'hype'. But this was something I felt every parent deserved to learn about. With endless possibilities for playing and learning I've found that I need less toys to keep my little one entertained and I know these items will last for years and for future children...oh and they just happen to look beautiful on display too!

More recently I have expanded the range of products we offer in the store to include reusable cloth nappies and accessories. I have a wealth of knowledge about cloth nappies as I have clothed both of my children. I would love to help and support you on your cloth nappy journey so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need some troubleshooting advice. 

Everything on our site is carefully selected for their quality and I think you will love these toys and products as much as we do. Where possible we always try to pick brands that are eco-friendly and we aim to support other small and local businesses too.
